Tanning Bed Bulbs
If the power of cars like the Ferrari relies on its immensely powerful engine, the effectiveness of tanning beds come from the tanning bed bulbs. These bulbs are the heart of tanning beds - the quality of a bed bulb determines the power of a tanning bed. Getting your cherished bronzed skin is not a problem, thanks to these bed bulbs.
Tanning bed bulbs, simply stated, supply the ultraviolet (UV) radiation in the tanning bed. The bed bulbs cause the skin to react, developing into a darker skin because of pigmentation change as a result of the exposure from these lights.
One must remember the importance of these bulbs, for they mainly affect the UV radiation coming in to your skin. This does not mean however, that other tanning bed parts, such as lotions, goggles, and pillows are not important - all of them are part of the bed supplies.
The efficiency of a bed mainly relies on various factors: the bed type, the bed bulbs used, their intensity and number of them in the tanning bed. You must understand that bed bulbs differ on the intensity of its power. For example, if you want a more powerful UV radiation, then it might be a good idea to use 20 bulbs but with a higher rating compared with 50 bulbs but with a lower rating.
Generally, the number of bed bulbs to be used depends on the usage nature and the level of tan one wants to achieve. You see, you can experience different tan stages. These could be achieved after a series of tanning sessions. Around the world, tanning salons generally have three types of beds. These tanning bed types differ by the quantity of bed lights and the radiation level or intensity. In that sense, the level of radiation and the development of your skin tan depend on the number and radiation intensity of the bed lights. Of course, factors such as the color and texture of your skin affect the number and intensity of the bed lights you want for your tanning beds.
That is why before going to a tanning salon, you must ask a doctor or skin expert on the level of tanning you can have, or if you can have tanning at all. If you can go on with your tanning, then you should remember the guidelines your doctor or your skin expert told you, such as the number of times you can be exposed with a certain number and radiation level of bed lights.
