Are They Really Practical?

With the prices of commodities continuously rising these days, we seem to have everything with a second best. And what’s more fascinating with it is that people tend to buy most of the “second best” items rather than the brand new ones.

Take for example the case of tanning beds. Because of its high-priced value, most tanning aficionados would vie for used tanning beds rather than the brand new ones.

The most common reason of everyone? They are basically the same. This means that most people who would go for used tanning beds believe that the function and performance is similar to that of a brand new one. So, they would rather get a used tanning bed than buy a new one.

It is a well known fact that tanning beds have created such tremendous response to from people who loves to get a tan but would rather do it a home. But nowadays, used tanning beds gradually dominate the seen, making the trend not just a home therapy but a money saving tactic.

However, for most wise consumers, they know that second bests are not really worthy of your money. You don’t know it but they can do more harm than good. Here are some facts that you have to know before considering used tanning beds:

1. Most used tanning beds have major defects on them.
Just look at it this way: for something that is quite an innovative and feasible product nowadays, why would its owner sell it if they are still fully satisfied with it, right? In the same way as most consumers who sell their things.

The basic concept in here is that, people would never sell their used tanning beds if it’s in perfect condition. And even if it is not, just consider the harm it may cause you once you start using it.

2. Used tanning beds are actually more expensive than you may think.
People are so hooked up with anything that is on sale. It seems that the word “SALE” has such a tremendous impact than the product itself. It just goes to show that people will most likely buy something because it is cheaper and not because it is a good buy.

Same thing goes with used tanning beds. They thought that because they were able to get the used tanning bed at a little cheaper than the brand new ones is already an advantage. What they don’t know is the maintenance that tags behind. Eventually, you will find that the more you use your used tanning beds, the more you spend more money preserving it.

3. Used tanning beds do not come with any warranties.
In fact, most second hand items do not have warranties at all. This is because business owners will never earn anything if they get to service the used tanning bed every now and then without any payment. And it’s very obvious that they want to avoid servicing the product because they most likely know that it is no longer in good shape.

What’s more, you are stuck with a product that you no longer have any used and you cannot even replace it for a new one without having to spend another dollar.

So, if you are contemplating on buying used tanning beds, think twice. No, make it thrice. Better yet, do not buy at all. If it is not worth your money, then it is not worthy of you. So, why settle for the second best when you can have the best only if you work hard to get it.
